Island Campfire Supper with Stories and Songs Celebrates Gullah culture

Victoria Hansen spoke to us on the subject of the effects of climate change on local farmers. While doing so the topic of how we use our land came up including the Gullah Campfire Supper with Stories and Songs. We had another event scheduled in March to celebrate Women's History Month called, "Women of the Movement". This article tells the details of the event and why we host regular programs that promote our Gullah history and culture through our stories, songs and food.
